Additional Capacity Projects Coming to I-4 near ChampionsGate

As work continues to reconfigure the Interstate 4 (I-4) and County Road (C.R.) 532 interchange near ChampionsGate, additional I-4 roadwork projects are set to begin this fall in Osceola County.

Beginning in late 2021, work will begin to add new eastbound and westbound I-4 auxiliary lanes, one in each direction, between the ramps of State Road (S.R.) 429 and C.R. 532, as well as an auxiliary lane on northbound S.R. 429 between I-4 and Sinclair Road. I-4 Ramps to State Road 408 Closing the Weekend of September 10 in Orlando

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is temporarily closing the Interstate 4 (I-4) ramps to State Road (S.R.) 408 as soon as 11 p.m. Friday, September 10, to 5 p.m. Saturday, September 11.

Drivers traveling on eastbound I-4 will be detoured to S.R. 408 using Exit 83 to South Street, and drivers traveling on westbound I-4 will use Exit 83 to Anderson Street to reach eastbound and westbound S.R. 408, respectively.

The closures are necessary for bridge work.
