The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) and Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) announce overnight lane closures are planned on and near the I-95 bridge over the Piscataqua River connecting Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Kittery, Maine.
The southbound lane closures between Exit 7 in New Hampshire and Exit 1 in Maine on the night of Tuesday, November 17th will support coring efforts, which are being completed to assess the condition of the I-95 bridge deck.
Southbound lane closures will begin at 7:00 pm on November 17, and will be removed by 5:00 am the following morning (11/18). A single lane closure will initially be implemented, followed by a two-lane closure as traffic volumes permit.
