Double-Lane Closures, Traffic Delays for I-4 Paving Beginning September 22

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that on Monday, September 19, through Thursday, September 22, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each night, there will be double inside lane closures on I-4 westbound between west of C.R. 4139 (Cassadaga Road) and east of S.R. 44 for paving operations.

I-4 Ramp Closure, Detours for Construction in Deland Sunday

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the entrance ramp onto Interstate 4 (I-4) westbound from Orange Camp Road (County Road 4116) in Deland will be closed on Sunday, August 21, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each night for paving operations on the ramp. This work is part of a larger project to resurface I-4 from west of County Road 4139 to east of S.R. 44.

I-4 at ChampionsGate DDI Open but Much Remain to be Done

The new diverging diamond interchange (#DDI) pattern is open at C.R. 532 and I-4 near ChampionsGate but be advised that work will continue to add pedestrian and bicycle features, curbing, landscaping, and more.

Two Interstate 4 Projects Set to Begin in 2022

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that two new Interstate 4 projects are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2022.

These include the reconstruction of the Daryl Carter Parkway overpass. This project will add three new ramps connecting Interstate 4 (I-4) to Daryl Carter Parkway: exit ramps from both directions of I-4 to Daryl Carter Parkway and an entrance ramp to eastbound I-4. Construction Progress Continues at I-4 and CR 532 Interchange Near Championsgate

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that construction on the new Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at Interstate 4 (I-4) and County Road (C.R.) 532 near ChampionsGate is progressing smoothly. The excavation of the pond on the southwest corner of the interchange continues and is retaining the runoff water and filtering out pollutants in the area within the project limits.
