I-95 Gas Price Update – Tuesday, April 24, 2012

I-95 Gas Price Update: Gas prices appear to be leveling off and even dropping a few cents over the past few days although $4 a gallon gas along I-95 is still quite common. Connecticut remains the state with the highest gas prices along I-95. Bridgeport is showing $4.22 a gallon for regular unleaded. The lowest gas prices continue to be in the Carolinas with Santee, ($3.72), Manning ($3.71) and Walterboro, SC ($3.70) South Carolina having some of the lowest prices. From Virginia south to Georgia, gas prices are generally in the $3.75 to $3.95 range.

Listed below are the average posted gas prices as of Tuesday, April 24, 2012 for unleaded regular gas at selected I-95 exit cities.

I-95 Gas Price Update – Friday, April 6, 2012

Your Easter Weekend Gas Price Update: $4 a gallon gas along I-95 is now quite common. Connecticut remains the state with the highest gas prices along I-95. Bridgeport is showing $4.21 a gallon for regular unleaded. The lowest gas prices continue to be in the Carolinas with Santee, ($3.76), Manning ($3.76) and Walterboro, SC ($3.77) South Carolina having some of the lowest prices. From Virginia south to Georgia, gas prices are generally in the $3.80 to $4.00 range.

$4 a gallon gas is now regularly appearing in Maine, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia and Florida. Connecticut still hold the distinction of not only the highest gas prices along I-95, but the first $4 a gallon state. New Haven is showing $4.10 a gallon for regular unleaded. The lowest gas prices continue to be in the Carolinas with Santee, ($3.72), Manning ($3.69) and Florence, SC ($3.74) South Carolina having some of the lowest prices. From Virginia south to Georgia, gas prices are generally in the $3.75 to $3.95 range.

The rise in gas prices appears to be slowing down a bit… along I-95 anyway, but $4 a gallon gas is still showing up. Prices along I-95 have seen an increase about 3 cents a gallon over the last week. Connecticut still holds the distinction of not only the highest gas prices along I-95, but the first $4 a gallon state. New Haven is showing $4.05 a gallon for regular unleaded. The lowest gas prices continue to be in Ashland, Virginia ($3.60), and Santee ($3.59), and Manning ($3.59) South Carolina. From Virginia south to Georgia, gas prices are generally in the $3.60 to $3.80 range.

Oh well, I guess we all knew it was coming… $4 a gallon gas is now here. Prices along I-95 have seen an increase about 10 cents a gallon over the last week. Connecticut now hold the distinction of not only the highest gas prices along I-95, but is now the first $4 a gallon state. Bridgeport is showing $4.01 a gallon for regular unleaded. The lowest gas prices continue to be in Richmond, Virginia ($3.57), and Santee ($3.59), and Manning ($3.58) South Carolina. From Virginia south to Georgia, gas prices are generally in the $3.60 to $3.80 range.
