Northern Virginia Driving Delays
There are some delays already afoot in Northern Virginia this morning: 6:25 A.M. UPDATE: — Traffic on I-395 North is bad, on and off, from the Springfield Interchange to the 14th Street Bridge. The entire roadway isn’t backed up, but there are so many spots of delay and congestion that it seems that way. At the bridge, at Washington Boulevard, at Seminary Road, before Duke Street — it’s just a slow, congested trek. — I-66 East is very backed up at Chain Bridge Road. 6:05 A.M. UPDATE: — Traffic is slowing and getting backed up on I-95 North shortly before the Springfield Interchange. — There’s also congestion on I-395 North at Washington Boulevard. ORIGINAL POST: — I-395 North is congested and slowing at Seminary Road. — A disabled vehicle on I-495 South at Gallows Road is blocking the right shoulder and causing potential delays.
