Florida Holiday Travel News and I-75 Construction News Thru December 5

The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting that there will be no interstate closures in Tampa Bay area over Thanksgiving holiday period.

– Tampa/St. Petersburg: No closures are scheduled in the interstate construction zones in Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties during the Thanksgiving holiday period from today (Wednesday, November 25) through Sunday (November 29).

– Wesley Chapel: One to three lanes may be closed on southbound I-75 from State Road 56 (Exit 275) to I-275 (Exit 274) from 9:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday (November 30 – December 4) nights. At least one lane will be open.

– Wesley Chapel: The State Road 56 entrance ramp onto southbound I-75 may be closed from 10:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday and Tuesday (November 30 and December 1) nights. DETOUR: Enter northbound I-75 and exit to County Road 54 (Exit 279). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto westbound County Road 54. After passing under I-75, turn left and enter southbound I-75.

– New Tampa: The southbound I-75 exit ramp to Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (Exit 270) may be closed from 10:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday and Wednesday (November 30 and December 2) nights. DETOUR: Continue past Exit 270. Exit to Fletcher Avenue (Exit 266). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and go east on Fletcher Avenue under I-75. Turn left and enter northbound I-75. Use northbound Exit 270 to Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.

– New Tampa: One to three lanes may be closed in either direction of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in the I-75 area (Dona Michelle Drive to Tampa Palms Boulevard) between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday (November 30 – December 4) nights. At least one lane will be open in each direction.

– Wesley Chapel/San Antonio: One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 anywhere from north of County Road 54 (Exit 279) to north of SR 52 (Exit 285) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday (November 30 – December 4) nights.

– Pasco County: One lane may be in each direction of I-75 from north of State Road 52 (Exit 285) to the Hernando County line (north of County Road 41/Exit 293) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday (November 30 – December 5) nights.

– Ridge Manor: One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from the Pasco County line (north of County Road 41/Exit 293) to about two miles south of SR 50 (Exit 301) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday (November 30 – December 3) nights.
