SeaWorld Orlando announced its latest world-class attraction, Infinity Falls, to debut summer 2018.

Thrilling rapids will roar through the brand new rainforest river experience, while adventure-seeking guests plunge down the world’s tallest river rapid drop.

A New Season of FUN at Worlds of Fun

As Worlds of Fun kicks off its 45th season this upcoming weekend, park goers will experience many new exciting changes and additions. For starters, guests will be greeted with a remodeled front gate featuring a beautiful iconic hot air balloon sculpture inspired by the Jules Verne classic, Around the World in Eighty Days. Not only is this new entry point a picture perfect setting, but it has been redesigned to accommodate more visitors, allowing families to get their day started in the park faster than ever.

Upon entering, guests will immediately take notice of an all new and breathtaking International Plaza. This is bound to become a new favorite gathering place for friends and family to meet and plan their day of fun. But that’s just the beginning, in addition to 7 world class roller coasters and dozens of family rides, two new thrill rides are awaiting 2017 visitors:

  • Mustang Runner – This ride features 7 spinning gondolas on three mechanical arms turning one way, while the base of the ride spins in the opposite direction.
  • Falcon’s Flight – This hair-raising thrill will have you and 49 of your closest friends screaming with delight as it spins you around at nearly 100 feet above the ground.
    Grab a towel and sunscreen, Oceans of Fun will open its doors on May 26th. The fun continues into June with the inaugural Kansas City Flavor Festival. This new limited time event will give park guests a different look at what KC uniquely has to offer when it comes to food, drink, arts, culture and music.

As fall approaches, you can count on another scary and edgy season of Haunt. But the fun will not stop there. Worlds of Fun is adding another 23 days to this 2017 season with the introduction of WinterFest. This brand new holiday spectacle is sure to become a Kansas City family tradition with hundreds of thousands of holiday lights, live shows, ice skating and so much more!

It’s not too late to purchase a 2017 Gold Season Pass at the lowest price of the year at Season Passholders will get to experience the park before anyone else during the Worlds of Fun Passholder Sneak Peek event this Thursday, April 13 from 6-10 pm. The park opens to the public on Friday, April 14.

Guests joined “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon to celebrate the grand opening of Universal Orlando Resort’s newest ride, Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon. The all-new ride takes guests on an action-packed race through the Big Apple against Jimmy Fallon himself, and completely immerses them in the world of America’s favorite talk show – “The Tonight Show.”

Jimmy Fallon kicked off the celebration with a New York-style ticker tape parade in Universal Studios Florida that featured tons of confetti, a custom float and beloved Universal Orlando characters. Joining Jimmy on the float were “Tonight Show” house band The Roots, announcer Steve Higgins, and an array of characters from the show, including Hashtag the Panda, the Ragtime Gals barbershop quartet, and even Stepdad Gary from the popular “Ew!” sketch. For the second consecutive season, the Maid of the Mist will launch on the earliest date in the storied history of one of North America’s longest running tourist attractions.

The 2017 season will begin Saturday, April 1, at 9:00 a.m., from its Niagara Falls, New York, landing. The season runs through November 5. In 2016, the season began April 2.

“Maid of the Mist VI and Maid of the Mist VII are ready to navigate the waters of the Lower Niagara River to the Maid of the Mist Pool at the base of the Horseshoe Falls,” said Christopher Glynn, president of Maid of the Mist.  “Our captains, crew members and associates are prepared to welcome guests from around the world as we build on last year’s record season, when 1.6 million visitors boarded our iconic vessels.
