Now Showing: Peak Fall Foliage in Northern Regions of Vermont, New Hampshire and Northern New York

New England Fall Foliage | I-95 Exit GuidePeak fall foliage colors are now showing in the northern regions of Vermont, New Hampshire and Central and Northern New York. This week is the perfect time for a fall foliage drive!

If New York is your choice, “The Adirondack Northway”, Interstate 87 has some of the best views anywhere. Peak fall foliage can be seen on I-87 beginning in Saratoga Springs and northward thru Glens Falls, Lake George, Plattsburg, and on to the Canadian border.

Vermont’s I-89 is a beautiful drive anytime of year, but fall is especially breathtaking. You’ll find peak autumn colors along I-89 northward from Montpelier, thru Stowe, Burlington, St. Albans, and on to the Canadian border. Vermont’s I-91 also has great color from St. Johnsbury thru Newport to the Canadian border.

New Hampshire offers some of the best Interstate vistas in the Northeast and you’ll find foliage at it’s peak in the northern part of the state. Travelers along I-93 will find plenty of photo opportunities from Franconia Notch thru Littleton and on to St. Johnsbury, Vermont

What’s cool about viewing fall colors from the Interstate? The experience is totally different in either direction. Drive north on I-89, turn around and head south and you’ll see a whole new perspective right before your eyes! You can easily spend several days exploring small towns and villages directly off the Interstate exits along the way.
